Thanatos is the personification of death․ He is also‚ at times‚ specified as being exclusive to a peaceful death‚ His duties as a Guide of the Dead were sometimes superseded by Hermes․ Thanatos was thus regarded as merciless and indiscriminate‚ hated by and hateful towards mortals and gods alike․ His symbols are the Poppy‚ Butterfly‚ Sword‚ and Inverted Torch․ This world is a memorial to all my dear friendships that cease to be․

In Aristophanes ∗Wealth∗‚ the world is shaped by two opposing forces˸ ∗∗Plutus∗∗‚ the blind god of wealth‚ and ∗∗Penia∗∗‚ the spirit of poverty․ Plutus represents abundance and the hope that good people might finally receive the riches they deserve‚ but his blindness causes wealth to fall unfairly into the hands of the wicked as often as the worthy․ Penia‚ by contrast‚ argues that poverty has a purpose‚ because need drives people to work‚ create‚ trade‚ and build civilization․ She is not merely misery‚ but necessity itself the force that keeps society moving․ Together‚ Plutus and Penia define each other‚ since wealth is only meaningful where poverty exists‚ and poverty is judged by the promise of relief through wealth․ Their conflict gives the story its deeper meaning‚ turning the play into a debate about justice‚ labor‚ and the true foundations of human life․

Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto‚ the Japanese god of the moon‚ is one of the most mysterious deities in Shinto myth‚ born from the purification of the creator god Izanagi after his journey to the land of the dead․ As ruler of the night and the moons calm‚ distant light‚ Tsukuyomi is often portrayed as solemn‚ pure‚ and powerful‚ embodying order‚ silence‚ and celestial dignity․ His most famous myth tells of his breaking with the sun goddess Amaterasu after he killed Uke Mochi‚ the food goddess‚ when he was disgusted by the way she produced nourishment․ Amaterasu‚ horrified by his act‚ refused ever to look upon him again‚ and from that divine separation came the eternal division of day and night․ Because of this‚ Tsukuyomi remains a remote and shadowed figure in Japanese mythology‚ representing not only the beauty of moonlight‚ but also distance‚ judgment‚ and the cold stillness of the night sky․ Support my worlds here on ko-fiǃ https˸⁄⁄ko-fi․com⁄brotherjonathan
