Cronus also known as Saturn was described as the god of time‚ generation‚ dissolution‚ abundance‚ wealth‚ agriculture‚ periodic renewal and liberation․ He was usually depicted with a scythe‚ or sickle‚ which was the instrument he used to castrate and depose Uranus‚ his father․ In myth‚ he devoured his children and became a patron of boundaries‚ prisons‚ and chains․ In the stars‚ he devours your time․
